Want to

I don’t need validation

I don’t need a touch

I don’t need anyone

Why do I fool myself into thinking that I need a you

I don’t.

Curious. You say. Do you want too much

Do I. Say. Why would you say that

I have what I need.

And you do too.

So it isn’t a necessity.

Of course it isn’t

I don’t need extra people

I don’t need extra help

I don’t want to like anybody. Anyway.

But go where you know

That’s what we do

By now it’s too hard to leave

The community

The country

Too hard to want to

When I needed to

Or is it.

Need is simply a passionate want.

Why count it more virtuous?
